Ever have one of those days? You know, when despite your best efforts to remain positive and productive it just seems like nothing is working properly. One snuck up on me the other day and this is what came out of it.

Lost in a sea of emotion
tattered and weary
and so all alone
Exceptional and strong
lowly and small
bold and determined
shy and scared
incongruent in so many ways
waging an internal war
hidden from the world
behind this wall of tranquility
