This past weekend saw a number of fun events taking place in our little city of Sioux Falls, including Lifescapes' Walk and Roll fundraiser.
Lifescape organization provides important life enhancing services to both children and adults who have disabilities.They are a non profit organization and as such rely on the generosity of donors. As fundraisers go this one was a lot of fun for everyone.
I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even know this event was taking place, until I was taking Lexi to work and we saw these two from the Dark Side. I suggested a photo with them would be great for her #OOTD shot. She agreed. Then she added the photo to her Instagram exclaiming that she had gone to the dark side.
I decided to go inside and check out the Walk and Roll, and I have to say everyone was having a grand time.

Ha! I smiled that Lexi has gone over to the dark side. ;)
That's a fun way to raise money. I think the ease of picture taking and sharing today probably encourages more people to don their costumes in public.
